Huzzah and Hooray! Victricia finds a publishing home…. Just a little past International Talk like a Pirate Day, the ship has finally sailed into harbor laden with booty. My current picture book
Victricia Malicia Calamity Higgins
has found a publishing home!! She’s signed on with Flashlight Press and will be sailing into print at a bookstore near your port some day not that long e-trading.in.th/exness-demo-account/ in the future. (No publication date has been set yet… I’ll keep you posted.)
Soon, my little pirate girl will be treated to the amazing talents of a still to be named picture book illustrator (first hint—it’s definitely not me). I can’t wait to see how she looks. If I’m given any sneak peeks, I’ll share what I’m permitted to with you. In the meantime, click on the links for a few pirate songs to celebrate little Victricia’s new venture.

Biz cards and bookmarks… coming soon! As I jump back into the shameless self promotion fray that seems to be the heart of children’s book publishing these days (sigh), I’ve had some fun pulling together book promotion cards and free bookmarkers. The bookmarks will be put up on site as a downloadable pdf demo later this week. Again we’re using some generic artwork until the real Victricia is revealed. Oooooo… the waiting is getting harder. So to amuse us all as we wait, here are a few new piratical tunes to enjoy.

Finally! The portfolio pages are … almost done. I’ve finally pulled together some of the missing portfolio pages with work samples (poetry and prose) and put them on line. The links should be working for everything except fiction excerpts which are still to be done. Thanks for your patience everyone.
